Despite being one of the biggest countries in the world, Indonesia isn’t known for its rock credentials.
Set to change this preconception are the incredibly named The Super Insurgent Group Of Intemperance Talent (or, The SIGIT). Described as "West Java’s pre-eminent exponents of electric rock’n'roll boogaloo", the group head to Australia for the first time for a run of dates with rock heavyweights Beasts of Bourbon, Dallas Crane and 67 Special.
The debut album ‘Visible Idea Of Perfection’ is released locally in June through Caveman! and Reverberation.

Berita tersebut mengagetkan kami yang sebelumnya hanya diberitahukan oleh Helvi (FFWD Records) bahwa kami di tawari untuk manggung di Australia oleh label kami di sana (Caveman!), dengan syarat biaya Pesawat, Akomodasi dan Transportasi ditanggung sendiri sepenuhnya dari pihak band dan label (FFWD). Setahu kami rencana ini masih tentative karena biaya yang akan dikeluarkan sangat besar sekali. Eh, tau-tau sudah ada press releasenya di berbagai media internet Australia. Good news it is, tetapi berubah menjadi bad news ketika hari keberangkatan semakin mendekat, kami belum juga mendapatkan sponsor yang bersedia membantu biaya tur ini.
We consider this as a big big chance, and chance like this might not come to us twice… It’s yet another anxious period of our career.
